The conference is named “The Conference on Religion and Climate Change – Southeast Asia” with the theme “Religion and Climate Change: An Effort to Reintroduce Religious Values and Local Culture in Environmental Conservation and Sustainable Development.

“This major theme will be discussed during a series of dialogue sessions, focusing on three topics: reorienting political-economic policies to address the environmental crisis and climate change, the role of religion and religious leaders in mitigating the impacts of climate change, and the influence of religious and social ethics on human behavior towards climate change.

Time & Place

The Conference on Religion and Climate Change for Southeast Asia, will take place over three days, from October 4, 2023, at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Mega Kuningan, Jakarta.
